Kingfishers is our newest cabin on its own pool, tucked away in the centre of the farm, it has a private entrance gate in its own 1 acre, dog proof fenced off area. Ideal for the float or pole fisherman, and also ideal for fathers to teach their children how to fish, or grandads with the same idea. All on one level with easy access and fishing 20 feet from the cabin it is ideal for less abled anglers , a 4 inch lip to the deck and door threshold being the only barriers.

The cabin has an information pack with helpful facts and rules and also a map of the entire estate.

Kingfishers is cosily furnished including a double bed and 2 seater sofa and television.

It has a fully equipped kitchen with gas hobs and microwave, grill and oven, fridge, bathroom and shower.

There is lots of garden furniture, sun lounger, charcoal barbecue, rowing boat with life jackets for your use.

This cabin is on mains electric.

The decking extends outside the cabin to within 5 meters of the water, you have the whole pool and countryside surroundings entirely to yourselves in total privacy.

The cabin is ideal for a holiday to get away for a chance to relax, a romantic break, to explore the beautiful countryside, chill out totally, or do some fishing on the well-stocked pool.

It is possible to accomodate a 3rd person by request or 2 small children.

Bedding, towels, toilet rolls, toiletries, bin bags, cutlery, pots and pans are all provided.

Due to the Cabin’s proximity to the water, children must be under strict adult supervision at all times.

Dogs:

Up to 2 dogs are welcome free of charge.

Fishing:

The lake contains common carp, mirror carp, up to 13.6 lbs and tench. It is not a match fishing venue,  but provides great pleasure fishing with some great fighting specimens. Night fishing is allowed.

There is a rowing boat on the pool free of charge with lifejackets included for safety.

Walking:

There is a wealth of local footpaths and walking trails, as well as being able to walk across the whole 650 acre estate, map provided.

Prices:

2024 – From, £160 per night for 2 people, weekdays

Late 2023/2024 - £70 per extra person/night. Half price for under 12s.

From February 2025, prices from £170 per night for 2 people, extra guests £80 per night, half price under 12s,. day fishing guests £40.

2 night minimum stay during 2024

Check in is at 12 Noon with departure 10.00am, UNTIL February all check ins are from 4 pm and checkout is by 10 am.

Please note there is a returnable deposit for , breakages, dog litter, and extra cleaning/cabin abuse of £30.

Please be advised when booking to leave a gap of at least 2 days which is our minimum booking period, or no gap at all.

Please ensure you use the same name for payment as the booking.

Cancellation Policy – . A full refund will be granted with 2 months notice of cancellation, 50% will be refunded with 1 month notice.

Please ensure you have full comprehensive travel insurance for your booking to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances, as we cannot offer refunds after these periods if the customer chooses to cancel.
