Crabtrees is a beautiful scenic lake set amongst the rural rolling Herefordshire countryside . It is maturing nicely with fish up to 20lb plus. It is very peaceful and quiet, with gorgeous water lillies and weeping willow trees.

This lake has 2 plush cabins that can be rented either together or individually. Both are fully equipped with kitchen with gas hobs and microwave, oven, grill, fridge with freezer box, toilet and shower, they are almost identical, with double bed, sofa and TV. Both have an electric fire and both cabins are on mains electric rather than solar.

It is possible to accomodate a 3rd person by request or 2 small children.

The decking extends from the cabin doors almost to the waters edge.

The cabin is ideal for a holiday to get away for a chance to relax, a romantic break, to explore the beautiful countryside, chill out totally, or do some fishing on the well-stocked lake.

The cabins are 70 yards apart.

Bedding, towels, toilet rolls, toiletries, bin bags, cutlery, pots and pans are all provided.

There is an information pack provided with useful facts, rules and also a map of the whole estate.

There is lots of garden furniture provided as well as charcoal barbecues and sun lounger.

Dogs:

Up to 2 dogs are allowed free of charge, but please be conscious that you may be sharing the lake with other guests / other dogs.

Fishing:

The lake contains common carp, mirror carp, ghosties, koi and tench. It is not a match fishing venue,  but provides great pleasure fishing with some great fighting specimens. Fish currently up to 20lb+

There is a rowing boat on the lake free of charge with lifejackets included for safety.

Walking:

There is a wealth of local footpaths and walking trails, as well as being able to walk across the whole 600 acre estate.

Prices:

Late 2023/2024 – from £160 per night for 2 people..

Late 2023/2024 - £70 per extra person/night. Half price for under 12s.

2 night minimum stay.

Check in is at 3pm with departure 12 Noon.

Please be advised when booking to leave a gap of at least 2 days which is our minimum booking period, or no gap at all.

PLEASE NOTE PRICES LISTED ARE FOR 2 PEOPLE, IF YOU REQUIRE MORE GUESTS PLEASE REMEMBER THEY ARE CHARGED .

Please ensure you use the same name for payment as the booking.

Please note we take 50% up front as a booking deposit, 100% IF LESS THAN A MONTH.

Cancellation Policy – A full refund will be granted with 2 months notice of cancellation, 50% will be refunded with 1 month notice.

Please ensure you have full comprehensive travel insurance for your booking to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances, as we cannot offer refunds after these periods if the customer chooses to cancel.
