The Cabin
“The Cabin” is our largest and most spacious accommodation sleeping up to 6 people in an open plan setting, and has been totally refurbished spring 2023.
The Cabin is cosily furnished including a king size bed, double bed and pull out double futon, with large woodburner, logs provided.
There are kitchen facilities including toaster, fridge, freezer box, kettle, microwave grill and twin hotplates and all cutlery, also outdoor charcoal barbecue.
Bedding, towels, toilet rolls, toiletries, bin bags, cutlery, pots and pans are all provided.
There is lots of garden furniture provided as well as a charcoal barbecue.
Find the hammock amidst the shrubbery to laze on.
The decking extends over the water and you have the whole acre lake and surroundings entirely to yourselves in total privacy.
The cabin is ideal for a holiday to get away for a chance to relax, a romantic break, to explore the beautiful countryside, chill out totally, or do some fishing on the well-stocked lake.
There is an information pack provided with useful facts, rules and also a map of the whole estate.
Due to the Cabin’s proximity to the water and the loft bedroom, all children must be under strict adult supervision at all times.
Dogs:
Up to 2 dogs are welcome free of charge, close the gate and let the dogs off the lead knowing it is all enclosed.
Fishing:
The 1 ½ acre lake contains specimen Carp to 29lbs, Ghost Koi, Mirror& Common Carp. It also has Roach, some large Bream, Tench and Perch & Chub. It is not a match fishing venue but provides great pleasure fishing. The lake is 10 feet at the deepest point with various lily beds.
There is a rowing boat on the lake free of charge with lifejackets included for safety.
Walking:
There is a wealth of local footpaths and walking trails, as well as being able to walk across the whole 650 acre estate, map provided.
Prices:
Late 2023/2024 - from £200 per night for 2 people
Late 2023/2024 - £70 per extra person/night. Half price under 12s
2 night minimum stay.
Check in is at 12 Noon with departure 10.00am.

Please be advised when booking to leave a gap of at least 2 days which is our minimum booking period, or no gap at all.
PLEASE NOTE PRICES LISTED ARE FOR 2 PEOPLE, IF YOU REQUIRE MORE GUESTS PLEASE REMEMBER THEY ARE CHARGED.
Please ensure you use the same name for payment as the booking.
Please note we take 50% as a deposit up front
Cancellation Policy – . A full refund will be granted with 2 months notice of cancellation, 50% will be refunded with 1 month notice.
Please ensure you have full comprehensive travel insurance for your booking to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances, as we cannot offer refunds after these periods if the customer chooses to cancel.
